Calling Unsigned Bands: I Need Your Best Song

With a new podcast starting in February 2010, I need songs to play.  I am working with labels to get music clearance but I also need unsigned bands!  If you're unfamiliar with my past site, The Daily Chorus, let me give you a short scenario....

If a podcast existed for The Daily Chorus, listeners would've heard songs from these bands before they were signed:  The Maine, Paper Route, There For Tomorrow, Forever The Sickest Kids, Cash Cash, The Morning Light, The White Tie Affair, Camera Can't Lie, MyChildren MyBride, Sky Eats Airplane, Lydia and many more.  Unfortunately, no podcast was ever started to feature the music of these bands when they were unsigned.  Do you want your band to be apart of that list? Do you have the talent, work ethic and fan base?

If you think you are the next signed band, send me an email containing your best song.  A top A&R exec once said that he didn't want to hear the band's favorite song.  He wants to hear the fans favorite song.  I am taking his advice and recommending that you send me your fan's favorite song, not the bands.
